Institutional Legacy

National Hepatology & Tropical Medicine Research Institute (NHTMRI)

Prof. Alaa established the NHTMRI (1996-2006) as a center of excellence at the MOHP. The facility is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of liver diseases in Egypt and serves as a training hub for doctors across the Middle East and Africa.
